This serene Felt Vase | Dusty Mauve Florals with ivory rim creates a perfect harmony of form and artistry, its organic silhouette adorned with delicate embroidered wildflowers that seem to have sprouted naturally from its surface. Nepali artisans have masterfully hand-felted premium wool into this sculptural vessel, creating subtle texture variations that evoke the quiet beauty of weathered stone. Perfect for displaying dried botanicals, single stems, or standing alone as an artistic statement, this piece brings understated elegance to mantels, shelves, and tabletops where natural materials and thoughtful craftsmanship are celebrated. A gentle intersection of function and poetry, where meadow blooms in soft pinks, blues and whites become permanently captured in meticulous stitchwork against the gentle landscape of felted wool.
Each item is handmade of 100% wool from New Zealand through the ancient technique of felt making. By adding warm soapy water to wool and then pressing and rubbing, the fibers will tighten into a felted textile material. Gradually, as the fibers are tightening together, the items are shaped into their final form - flower, heart, bird, etc. Once it is dried, it is ready for its final embellishments.
These products are 100% Fair Trade certified by the World Fair Trade Organization and made by skilled Nepalese women. To become fair trade certified, there are ten principles that must be met:
